- Water Outage Mon., 5.20 from 8-10 am

Reservation Rates
Facility reservation rates are based upon the degree of affiliation with the University of Kansas, the activity area(s) and mission of the event (revenue vs. non-revenue) requested.
NOTE: The University of Kansas retains the right to review and adjust rates annually.
KU Recreation Services requires a security deposit of 50% of event cost is required to reserve the event time and space.Cancellation notice is required at least 48 hours prior to the event. If less than 48 hours notice, 25% of total agreed price will not be refunded for administrative charges.
Rate Criteria
Level 1:
- Student, Staff and Faculty Members, Retiree, Affiliate, KU Athletic Corporation and Student Member Groups that are non-revenue generating events.
- No charge for facility space
- $8.50/hr for the number of Special Event Monitors deemed necessary by KURS.
Level 2:
- Student, Staff and Faculty Members, Retiree, Affiliate, KU Athletic Corporation and Student Member Groups that are revenue generating events.
- Facility rates apply.
- $8.50/hr for the number of Special Event Monitors deemed necessary by KURS.
Level 3:
- Non KU Participants
- Facility rates apply twice that of Levels 2
- $8.50/hr for the number of Special Event Monitors deemed necessary by KURS.
Definitions/ Important Information
- Revenue generating events will be defined as events which realize a profit for a group (KU participants or Non KU participant) that directly benefits the organization.
- Non-Revenue generating events are defined as events that only meet event expenses.
- Definition of a Third Party: One other than the pricipals involved in a transaction.
- The University of Kansas retains the right to review and adjust rates annually.
- No activity is permitted that involves the regular use of University facilities and results in financial gain or profit to an individual. (Approved by Chancellor, November 1983 and February 2009.)
- Event sponsors assume responsibility for all costs associated with the repair of all damage occurring as a result of their event.
- Any event that is during non-business hours will be required to have a minimum of three Special Event Monitors.
- All events are subject to approval by KURS regarding appropriateness for the facility/building.
