Blair Schuyler
Blair joined KU Recreation Services in September 2016. Born and raised in LeRoy NY, Blair received his Bachelor’s Degree in Education with Minors in Physical Education and Athletic Coaching from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2005. At the University of Nebraska, Blair worked in all aspects of Facilities & Informal Recreation, focusing on the day-to-day operations. Blair then served as a Graduate Assistant for Facilities & Operations at Clemson University, receiving a Master’s Degree in Parks, Recreation, & Tourism Management in 2008. Upon graduation from Clemson University, Blair worked in Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Missouri & University of Virginia before becoming the Member Services Coordinator at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2011. In the Spring of 2016, Blair was named the Assistant Director, Facilities at Illinois State University, leading to his role as the Associate Director, Facility Management at KU. Some of Blair’s hobbies include golf, NASCAR, working out, dining out, and attending sporting events.
