KU Recreation Services Assumption of Risk Statement

Participation in activities offered by Recreation Services at the University of Kansas is voluntary and involves certain risks that could result in injury. I know that the university does not provide any type of insurance for Recreation Services participants. I shall not hold the University of Kansas, and/or the Office of Recreation Services, the State of Kansas, Kansas University Athletic Corporation, or their employees, responsible or liable for any injury incurred while participating in programs offered by Recreation Services. Such participation includes, but is not limited to, event participation and program participation.
