Intramural Sports Student Job Descriptions

The Intramural Sports Official is responsible for effectively officiating intramural sports contests and the general safety of the participants.  An official must attend all sport specific Officials' meetings and clinics.  An official must also be knowledgeable in general Intramural Sports Policies and Procedures.  Work hours consist of afternoon to late evenings, Sundays - Thursdays.

Pay starts at $10.80/hour with opportunities for advancement.

 

The Intramural Sports Supervisor is responsible for the on-site supervision of Intramural Sports Officials and the administration of the various Intramural Sports activities.  Supervision will include multiple activities that can occur simultaneously.  An Intramural Sports Supervisor must have a comprehensive knowledge of team sport and individual / dual activities.  Experience as an official at KU or similar situation is preferred, but not required.  A Supervisor will work mainly afternoon to  evening hours, Sundays - Thursdays.  A Supervisor must be certified in CPR and AED certified or become certified within the first month of employment.

Pay starts at $11.25/hour with opportunities for advancement.

Working in collaboration with the Assistant Director for Intramural Sports and other Program Managers, these three individuals are responsible for creating, executing, and evaluation over 30 sports and events annually.  Program Manager will work mainly afternoon hours Monday - Friday, with occasional evening, and various weekend hours.  Program Managers must be certified in CPR and AED certified or become certified within the first month of employment.

Pay starts at $12.25/hour.
