Whether you're looking to connect with nature, unwind from the daily hustle, or simply enjoy the company of like-minded individuals, our beginner-friendly hiking trips offer the perfect escape. These excursions are designed with beginners in mind, offering a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all fitness levels.

About Introduction to Paddleboarding

Discover the joy of Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP)! Our SUP lessons offer the perfect blend of fun and learning, allowing you to master the art of balancing on water while immersing yourself in nature's beauty. Whether you're a beginner or looking to enhance your skills, our knowledgeable instructor will guide you through the fundamentals of Stand-Up Paddleboarding, including paddling techniques and proper form. Join us today and unlock the limitless possibilities of this exhilarating watersport! 

  • This trip will take place on Clinton Lake in a quiet cove. 
  • All participants will be required to wear a lifejacket.
  • All gear is provided. 
  • Transportation is  NOT provided. 
  • No pets allowed on our trips. 
     

Frequently Asked Questions

Trips and programs are limited to KU students and current KU Faculty/Staff. For the time-being, no guests are permitted. We hope to expand our programs to allow guests in the future. 

Use the link below to register for each program you wish to attend. Once you have registered, you will be emailed links to all the waivers needed for each program.

All participants will receive an email a few days ahead of the program with details regarding where and when to meet, what to bring, things to consider, what is provided, etc. These emails will go out to the KU email on file for each participant. 

  • Full payment for all trips is due at time of registration. 
  • Cancellations within ONE WEEK of the activity date will NOT be refunded or rescheduled unless otherwise stated. 
  • “No Shows” are non-refundable and will not be rescheduled. 
  • All trips are subject to cancellation due to unsafe weather or conditions outside of our control. In this event, the trip will be rescheduled or you may opt for a refund minus irretrievable deposits. In the case of cancellation due to insufficient participation, a full refund will be issued. 
  • Refunds may be given within one week of the activity date when a medical emergency prohibits participation. A dated and signed doctor’s note must be presented within 72hrs of the document issue date in order to receive a refund in these cases.
