KU FIT CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

This class provides you with a great cardiovascular workout! Pedal through hill climbs, sprints, and many other challenging drills and exercises.

A 30-minute workout with short and intense training to get rapid results. Go at your own pace and build up the intensity over time as you become stronger each class.

Enjoy all of the perks of a cardio cycling workout with the addition of instructor-led stretching at the end of class to improve body alignment and flexibility.

An interval-style dance class that combines low and high intensity moves to the rhythm of Latin-inspired dance music.

This Les Mills class is a unique combination of Pilates, barre, and power yoga. Shapes provides a low impact workout with small controlled movements that sculpts and strengthens your muscles and improves alignment and flexibility.

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) focuses on short, intense bursts of exercises and increasing the heart rate.

Slow and deliberate movements challenge your strength, flexibility, and balance through different poses. At the same time, you’ll focus on relaxation and mindfulness.

Focuses on flow and energy by connecting your breath to the faster-paced movements to help you achieve balance inside and out.

Slow and gentle practice that encourages physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. This class will be taught in both Spanish and English.

This class has a strong moving flow that cultivates balance, stability, strength, and endurance. Modifications are offered for beginning and advanced levels.
