KU FIT CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

This class provides you with a great cardiovascular workout! Pedal through hill climbs, sprints, and many other challenging drills and exercises.

Slow and deliberate movements challenge your strength, flexibility, and balance through different poses. At the same time, you’ll focus on relaxation and mindfulness.

Focuses on flow and energy by connecting your breath to the faster-paced movements to help you achieve balance inside and out.

The goal of this class is to strengthen/tone your core stabilizer muscles through a combination of standing and floor exercises designed to target the back and abdominal muscles.

This barbell and free weights class is all about light/moderate weight loads and high repetition movements to gain strength and burn bodyfat. (Note: Bodypump™ 45 is the 45-minute format of the class.)

This class combines basic foundations of Pilates with ballet-inspired moves and elements of yoga, dance, and strength training. You will lengthen and strengthen your muscles while stretching your whole body.

Perform combos, drills, and low-contact sparring while shadow boxing and using mitts in a light, controlled manner. Some classes may include strengthening exercises and drills to improve agility and increase cardiovascular endurance. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee!
