2026 Movin' With The Rec 5K Fun Run
Come run with Recreation Services!
KU Recreation Services is hosting the fourth annual Movin' With The Rec 5k Fun Run! Join us for a morning run (or walk) touring the most scenic areas of our beautiful campus at the University of Kansas.
PRE-PACKET PICKUP
You may pick up your race packet early by visiting the front desk of the Ambler Student Recreation Fitness Center during our regular building hours on Friday April 10th from 6am - 9pm or Saturday April 11th from 9am - 5pm.
You may also pick up your packet the morning of Sunday, April 12th before the race at Wescoe Beach on Jayhawk Blvd. starting at 7am.

T-Shirt Design
The 2026 design for Movin' with the Rec 5K T-shirt features blue and cyan stripes on a red base with white accents.*

Commemorative Medal
Each participant will recieve a commemorative medal upon completing the route. This year's design features the 5K 2026 logo!*

5K Route
This year's race will begin on Jayhawk Boulevard and take participants through the heart of our beautiful campus.
Parking
Participants can park in lots 1, 16, 50, 52, or 91, or in the Mississippi Street Parking Garage.
Volunteers can park along Memorial Drive or lot 2.
