Reschedule Request Form
The Intramural Sports program understands that at times, players and/or teams are unable to play an Intramural Sports game because of a scheduling conflict. When this situation presents itself, team captains have the opportunity to request a reschedule.
In order to allow sufficient time to address the reschedule the team captain of the requesting team must submit an Intramural Sports Reschedule Request Form no later than two (2) business days prior to the original game.
For a reschedule to be successful the following four steps must occur in order:
- The requesting team captain submits an Intramural Sports Reschedule Request Form no later than two (2) business days prior to the original game.
- Facility space and staff must be available at the proposed reschedule date and time. If facility space does not exist or staff is not available, the game will be played at the date and time it was originally scheduled.
- The opposing team captain may decide whether or not to accept the reschedule request. If the opposing team captain does not elect to reschedule, the game will be played at the date and time it was originally scheduled.
- If the reschedule request is accepted, both teams will be notified via email of the new game details.
Upon submitting an Intramural Sports Reschedule Request Form, the requesting team captain will be notified via email that the request has been received and will be processed following the guidelines above. Until confirmation from the Intramural Sports office of a successful reschedule is received, the game will remain at its originally scheduled date and time.
Reschedule requests for regular season games, pool play games, or tournament games prior to the Round-of-8 (quarterfinals) will not be considered.
Submitting a Reschedule Request Form does not guarantee that the game will be rescheduled.
