Open Swim Times Discontinued

Recreation Services will not be offering open swim times this summer semester, or for the 2025-26 academic year, due to limited funding that will be shifted to more frequently utilized services. The last day of open swim was Friday, May 16th. 

There are still swim opportunities in the Lawrence community. Lawrence Parks and Recreation operates both the indoor pool (located at Free State High School) and the outdoor pool (located off Kentucky St). More info regarding their hours and costs can be found here.  

For additional fitness needs, KU faculty and staff members can purchase a membership to the Ambler Student Recreation and Fitness Center (ASRFC) for themselves or their spouse / domestic partner online.
